I started blogging after receiving my bachelor's degree in Public Relations, and was told it was vital to have a blog in the "real world." So here I am...*wasting time posting pictures and crap I do for all of you to sit and waste time! What a great world we live in...
I like to listen to folk and alternative music while sipping chai teas. I also like to beat the hell out of furniture and put it in my house... some people call it shabby chic, but I like to call it my junk that no one would steal. I'm a shopaholic that loves shoes, scarves, bags, and pretty much anything shop-talk. I speak too loudly and sleep until at least 10am every day. WOW! This just gets better and better...
Now you are probably thinking..."What a scab on society!" But honestly, I do have some more admirable qualities. I promise. I am a personal care assistant for 3 young girls and one other family. I love helping people and learning how to lead through a positive example. I am doing research on Team Based Learning and volunteer at the YWCA for Girls on the Run! I am also a graduate assistant in the Department of Education at Minnesota State University, Mankato. I love being a life long learner and am always looking for something else to get involved with!
Other than that... enjoy!
* All time spent wasted is not wasted time if you are doing the things you love. And I love these things.
